Ekwanok has an active bridge program including lessons offered weekly.

Both Ekwanok and Dorset Field Club enjoy bridge together with events scheduled at both clubs during the season.

Weekly games are on Wednesdays, beginning at 4:00 p.m.

• Games will alternate weeks between the two Clubs, Ekwanok and Dorset.
• Two ACBL-accredited Directors from last year will return:
  • Judi Ward and Andy Avery

Both men and women players schedule bridge games at the club throughout the week. As in previous years, all games will be ACBL-sanctioned (granting masterpoints). Partners will be provided is possible.

Games will begin between 3:45 and 4:00 p.m., ending around 7:00 p.m. Dinner will follow after a short cocktail hour. Dinner is open to ALL players and their guests. Non-playing members of either Club are welcome at dinner. There is a $10 “card” fee for each player.

We welcome guests, who may play together. We try to make the transition to duplicate from rubber bridge a smooth one. A number of members made that transition in past years – successfully and enjoyably. We have orientation sessions before games for those desiring them.

Lessons

For the ninth year, Andy Avery will lead twelve Wednesday morning sessions. Lessons will be available to members of either club at a charge of $25.
